Michael ByungJu Kim is a Partner and one of the founders of MBK Partners. Prior to MBK Partners, Mr. Kim was President of Carlyle Asia Partners, responsible for overseeing Carlyle’s buyout activities in the Asia-Pacific region (outside of Japan). Kim was also a member of The Carlyle Group’s Management Committee.

Before Carlyle, Mr. Kim was Managing Director and COO of Asia-Pacific Investment Banking for Salomon Smith Barney and an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs & Co. Kim has a BA with Honors from Haverford College, where he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

He was also a Fulbright Scholar. He serves on the boards of trustees of the MBK Scholarship Foundation, Haverford College, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall. Kwang Il Kim is a Partner based in Seoul.

Prior to MBK Partners, Mr. Kim was a Partner and Senior M&A Lawyer at the law offices of Kim & Chang, based in Seoul. Before Kim & Chang, Mr. Kim worked as a Certified Public Accountant at Samil PricewaterhouseCoopers in Seoul. Kim received a BA and MA from Seoul National University and an LLM from the University of Pennsylvania. He has been a member of the Korean Bar Association since 1995 and the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1989. Kim currently serves on the boards of directors of C&M, HK Savings Bank, Young Hwa Engineering, C&M Gangnam Broadcasting, NEPA and Homeplus. The exorcist 1973 download.
